Fandom is why I went into online teaching.
Fandom is why I am promoting wikis at my university.
It is all fandom's fault!
I'm in the midst of preparing a workshop on what wikis can do for faculty in their classes, and so I'm posting to solicit links, recs, sources that you all consider useful to your teaching.
The great tech people have set up FacDevWiki (faculty development wiki), so my workshop will consist mostly of faculty working in the wiki, setting up their user info, making an entry, reading each other's, editing entries, etc. I am putting together some entries for them to see (and I hope edit!), and figured that it would be a crime to waste the great hive mind out there!
Any discipline, any mode of teaching: online, hybrid/web-enhanced, face/face--any source (link pages, online articles, good resources, samples of student work). ANYTHING you find useful, I'd like to see!
